After quite a stressful year, summer vacation finally
arrived. (I write you now after resting for almost two weeks.)
What to do now? I have the feeling I’m supposed to run
out of the country to consider myself having a “summer vacation”, instead I am
still here. Why? Just because.
Well, I am actually very happy to just be at home. I
live in this apartment for a little more than a year now and there are still
some walls I need to paint (into my favorite wall color: white), a floor I want
to replace and a few things to unpack (I have an unhealthy addiction to collect
useless stuff, so there you go).
Let’s get started!
I did get started, BUT I also got distracted by
meeting friends for coffee, reading some books, continuing on my “school”-stuff
and baking bread… not the most exciting vacation but it makes me happy, I
guess.
Let me explain the school stuff I am working on: I am
an art student life=school, school=work, work=life. This formula does not apply
to all art student, but I am the nerdy + weird kind. In September, when this
royal lifestyle comes to an end and school starts again, you will see more into
our “exiting” lives at the academy of arts, but for now let’s all have
vacation.
Oh yes I remember. Another thing I would like to share
is my window garden. Now don’t google window gardens because mine done not look
like that, however it is growing well and makes a pretty site when the sun
shines through my window.
AND we started this blog, yay!
Feeling very productive this summer! What are you
doing this summer, and don’t forget to take care of yourselves.
Now, Raisa I need you to spice up this
blog/website/thing, please post something that doesn’t sound like we don’t have
a life outside art school (because we don’t).
I’ll see you soon, lady!
